VA HOSPITAL
Department of Veteran's Affairs
The goal of the VA is to provide excellence in patient care, veterans' benefits and customer satisfaction. The VA has reformed the department internally and are striving for high quality, prompt and seamless service to veterans. The department's employees continue to offer their dedication and commitment to help veterans get the services they have earned. Our nation's veterans deserve no less.
Of the 25 million veterans currently alive, nearly three of every four served during a war or an official period of hostility. About a quarter of the nation's population -- approximately 70 million people -- are potentially eligible for VA benefits and services because they are veterans, family members or survivors of veterans.

Snowmass Villiage, CO;
March 29-April 3, 2009
Helped make miracles possible for thousands of severely disabled veterans who have attended the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic since 1987.
Miracles On A Mountainside 23rd annual National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic in beautiful Snowmass Village, Colorado, March 29 - April 3, 2009. Nearly 400 veterans, seriously disabled while protecting our freedom, will have an opportunity to pack more miracles into the weeklong, life-changing event than they ever dreamed possible. They will also discover the wonder and achievement life still has to offer, despite their profound disabilities.
Everyday challenges of life seem much more surmountable for these athletes, after conquering a snow-covered mountainside with one leg, no eyesight, or paralysis. Disabled veterans draw inner strength from this experience of a lifetime and use it to overcome life’s challenges head-on when they return home at the end of the week. They also inspire countless, able-bodied Americans to catch their spirit as they welcome the challenges and opportunities of each new day.

Once, they fought for you -- now, our veterans desperately need your help! Today, far too many of America’s military veterans are homeless -- there are thousands in Florida alone! This is an outrage. A national disgrace! We must do something about it, and I’m asking for your help. I’m Chris Noel.
In Hollywood, I did films with Elvis and Steve McQueen. In Vietnam, I performed live, and my radio show was broadcast to our troops, both in Vietnam and worldwide. Then, in 1993, I founded Vetsville Cease Fire House, a non-profit charity based in Florida that is dedicated to providing food, shelter and care for indigent military veterans.
Our mission is to provide homeless American military veterans --regardless of race, creed, color, sex or age -- with food, shelter, and a secure environment as we aid them in returning to society. That’s our goal -- and Vetsville Cease Fire House is making it happen ... with the help of your generous contribution! |
